Brief Program Description
This program focuses to strengthen and nurture basic comprehension of Students in English Literature, its timeline-history and various eras, conceptual clarity of Linguistics and significance of Communication skills. This also enables the learners to read and write critically as competent individuals who can also analyze linguistics and its intra-branches for their usage. This program will also foster the fundamental and conceptual understanding of psychology, philosophy, Scientific and Quantative Reasoning. Precisely, it lays emphasis at nurturing Interpersonal and Communication skills. Most significantly, it also provides a platform of profound learning for the Higher Level studies in English Literature and Linguistics.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum 40 % marks in Intermediate/12 years schooling/A- Level (HSSC) is required for admission in Associate Degree English.
- A minimum 2.0 CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) on a scale of 4.0 is required for award of ADP English degree.
- The candidates with ADP English Degrees are eligible for admission in 5th Semester of BS Language & Literature/Linguistics Programs.
- The candidates who acquired ADP English Degrees prior to the admission criteria (as per University Criteria 45%) are also eligible for admission in 5th Semester of BS Language & Literature/Linguistics Programs.
- The Candidates who acquired BA/ADP degree in other disciplines shall complete the deficiency courses of General Education (Zero Semester as bridge Semester) for BS Language & Literature/Linguistics
